Caudle To Have Surgery

Auburn commitment Neil Caudle is done for the season after an injury Friday night.

Hoover, Ala.--For the second year in a row the season ends much too soon for Spain Park quarterback Neil Caudle. On the third play of Friday night's game against Oak Mountain Caudle tore his right ACL and stretched his MCL Caudle's father said.

Because of the damage he's scheduled to have surgery on Wednesday. His rehabilitation is expected to take five to six months and he should be full speed when he reports to Auburn next summer.

Last season Caudle had surgery to repair a torn ACL in his left knee. In his first game back this season he accounted for over 250 yards and four touchdowns in a victory over Auburn High.
