"The visit went real good," Goggans said. "I enjoyed it a lot. On a scale from one to ten, I would give my visit a ten."
"I really enjoyed everything about the trip. The players are upfront with you. They act the same, and they showed me everything about Tuscaloosa."
The Scout.com three-star prospect named several other things he liked about his official visit.
"I just really like being in Tuscaloosa," Goggans said. "I enjoyed my host Chris Harris. We went out, and he showed me a real good time.
"One of the main things that caught my eye was the academic center. I really liked how everything was set up. I liked how they had individual rooms for tutors. Another thing that really stuck out to me was the new dorms they are building. It's a really good thing because they are close to the practice fields and close to all the academic buildings. That's a big plus."
Goggans spent time with the Alabama coaches and said, "All the coaches were telling me how they were glad to see me there. Coach (Mike) Shula and coach (Dave) Ungerer are planning to make an in-home visit Tuesday. They just answered a few questions I had. Coach (Paul) Randolph and Coach Ungerer asked me a bunch of questions.
"Coach Randolph told me they were still debating which position I would play," Goggans continued. "They said I am exactly like Travis McCall coming out of high school. They said I could play either tight end or defensive end. They still don't know."
Goggans considers himself a soft verbal to Tennessee, and he noted he will take his remaining visits before making a final decision.
"Everything is still about the same," Goggans said. "I want to check out Tennessee (1/21) and Auburn (1/13) before I make my decision. I really enjoyed Alabama a lot this weekend though."
