Lineman Looking Strong In All-Star Workouts

An update on defensive line prospect Aleric Mullins is featured.

Wendell, N.C.--Aleric Mullins has been a wrecking ball for the North Carolina defensive line in Shrine Bowl practices, and the Wendell, N.C., native feels good about his teammates thus far.

"We're starting to look good out there, working hard, and we need to keep this up," Mullins said, adding that he is playing both nose tackle and defensive tackle. "They are stressing no-huddle, and (South Carolina) is going to be spread all day and we need to be working the gaps."

In recruiting, Mullins is working the very few gaps in his calendar to take official visits. With visits to Oklahoma and Auburn already taken, Mullins has at least two more visits to make in January.

"I have Tennessee coming up on the 13th and Florida coming up on the 20th. For that last one, I'm not sure yet if I'm going to take it or where I'm going to go. I'm not sure about where I would go, but North Carolina could be a possibility."

The annual Shrine Bowl game will be played on Saturday in Spartanburg, S.C., matching all-stars from North Carolina vs. South Carolina.
