Obomanu Added to Senior Bowl Roster

Auburn, Ala.--Wide receiver Ben Obomanu is expected to join four teammates as a participant in the 57th annual Senior Bowl Game in Mobile.

The group of Tigers expected to play in the game includes All-American offensive tackle Marcus McNeill and linebacker Travis Williams along with receivers Devin Aromashodu and Anthony Mix.

The 57th annual Senior Bowl game is scheduled for a 3 p.m. kickoff on Jan. 28th at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile and it will be televised by ESPN.

Last year four Tigers played in the game. The group included running back Carnell Williams, quarterback Jason Campbell, cornerback Carlos Rogers and safety Junior Rosegreen. Williams is playing with the Tampa Bay Bucs while Campbell and Rogers are rookies with the Washington Redskins. Rosegreen tried to make the Seattle Seahawks as a free agent, but was cut.

Obomanu, a major four-year contributor for the Tigers from Selma, played his senior season as a graduate student. He caught a team-high 33 passes as a senior and finished the year with five receiving touchdowns and 357 yards. He also rushed seven times for 147 yards and two scores.

Obomanu finished second in Auburn history in touchdown receptions with 18.
