Cards or Tigers for DT Kareem Crowell? three-star defensive tackle Kareem Crowell of Tallahassee Godby High School told that he will receive in-home visits from his favorites this week and a final decision would come soon...

While he has yet to extend his verbal commitment to Louisville, Tallahassee Godby quarterback Emanuel Francis, who made his official visit with the Cardinals program this past weekend and hopes to pledge this week, has already started to talk a fellow teammate into playing for U of L.

"I talked to Kareem Crowell as soon as I got home to tell him about my visit," Francis said of his teammate and three-star defensive tackle prospect.

"He told me that he had a great time on his visit," Crowell said of his discuss with Francis. "In fact, he said that he's going to make his decision to go there this week."

Crowell, who verbally committed to Auburn in September and visited Louisville in December, told that his discussion with Francis persuaded him to call the Cardinals head coach.

"I just got off the phone with him," said Crowell. "We talked about them coming down next week."

In addition to the Louisville visit, Auburn - his other finalist – will also make an in-home pitch during the coming days, which could lead to the 6-foot-3, 285-pound Crowell's final college choice.

"Louisville is coming down to visit on Wednesday and Auburn will be here on Thursday," he said on Sunday. "It's down to those two and after those visits my family and I will discuss everything and then I'll probably make my decision next Monday."

Crowell added that the number of players on the Cardinals roster from the Tallahassee area, including former Godby teammate E.K. Sawyerr, may make the difference in his final decision.

"When I went up there for my visit I had a wonderful time and got along really good with the players," he explained. "Plus, they have a lot of guys from the Tallahassee area up there and one of my old teammates E.K. Sawyerr is there. Our other defensive tackle Frank Grimes is committed to going there."

Crowell also considered scholarship offers from Clemson, North Carolina, North Carolina State and others before narrowing his choices to Auburn and Louisville.
