Final Visit Set For Tim Hawthorne

Tim Hawthorne dropped a school and is getting ready to take another visit.

Homewood, Ala.--Scout.com's seventh-ranked receiver in the country, Tim Hawthorne, has set his last official visit and eliminates one school from his list.

"Everyone is pretty much even right now," Hawthorne said. "It's between Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Tennessee and South Carolina. Louisville is pretty much out of it now for me."

Scout.com's four-star receiver will take his last official visit this weekend. Tennessee head coach Phillip Fulmer made an in-home visit with Hawthorne Sunday night.

"The visit with coach Fulmer went pretty good the other night," Hawthorne said. "He gave me a lot of good info about the school. I have decided to take my final official visit this weekend to Tennessee.

"I feel I need to give Tennessee one last look. I felt like I needed to go up there to check out everything. They could easily get back into the swing of things."

Hawthorne's announcement is scheduled for Monday, but he said, "I hope I can decide by then. It's going to be very tough. I really don't know if I will have my decision made, but I hope so. The announcement will take place at The Club in Homewood, Ala. The time is set for 4:30 p.m. (CST)."
