Talented Wide Receiver Signs With Tuberville

Terrell Zachery has signed his letter of intent to play for Auburn.

Wadley, Ala.--The all-time leader for receiving yardage in the state of Alabama made it official on Wednesday that he will play his college football for the Auburn Tigers.

Terrell Zachery finished his career at Wadley high with 4,410 receiving yards, which is the most ever in the state. He also caught 51 touchdown passes in his career, and now he is looking to bring that big play ability to the Plains.

The 6-1, 180-pound receiver looked at Florida and Georgia before picking Auburn over in-state rival Alabama in October.

Zachery has been working hard in the classroom during his senior season and still has some work to do in his final semester if he is going to join the Tigers in 2006. However, if he does become eligible he could possibly see early playing time for the Tigers at receiver or on special teams, where he is also a big-play threat.
