AU Plans Basketball Promotion For USC Game

Auburn, Ala.--Auburn officials have announced that the men's basketball team's Senior Day will also be Season Ticket Holder Appreciation Day.

When the Tigers close their 2005-2006 home schedule on March 4th vs. South Carolina at 1 p.m. every season ticket holder will be provided two complimentary tickets.

"We sincerely appreciate the support of all our season ticket holders," says Auburn coach Jeff Lebo. "They are playing a vital role in the building of our program."

Ronny LeMelle is Auburn's only senior.

In addition to honoring senior Ronny LeMelle, 1950s star Rex Frederick, the top rebounder in Auburn history, will have his No. 32 jersey retired in a ceremony at halftime.

To receive the complimentary tickets, season ticket holders must present identification at the Beard-Eaves-Memorial Coliseum box office on game day or email or call 334.844.9436 with the names to be left at will-call. The box office will open at 11:30 a.m.
