Lebo Suspends Freshman Forward Dollard

Auburn, Ala.--Auburn basketball freshman forward Josh Dollard has been suspended indefinitely for violation of team rules, head coach Jeff Lebo announced Wednesday prior to his team's home game vs. Mississippi State.

Lebo said that Dollard will continue to practice with the team, but did not give a timetable for his return to game action.

"Josh has been suspended indefinitely for violation of team rules," Lebo said. "It is an unfortunate situation, but there is no player above team rules. We are all disappointed, and hopefully Josh will learn from this."

Dollar is averaging 9.1 points and 4.4 rebounds per game and has started a dozen times.

The Hemingway, S.C., native scored a season-high 29 points and had eight rebounds vs. Jacksonville State Dec. 31.
