"I received my first two offers today from Auburn and Ole Miss," McNeil said. "I was really excited when I found out. I was called out of class this morning during first block, and I was told I need to call those two coaching staffs.
"I talked to mostly all the coaches at both schools. Ole Miss was asking me to come visit this weekend for Junior Day. I will probably do that. The Ole Miss coaches were telling me I would have a good chance to play early if I came there."
McNeil was excited about his first in-state offer. The Auburn Tigers rank as one of the top schools on his list.
"Auburn is pretty much one of my top three schools if not my top school," McNeil said. "I was overwhelmed with joy when I received the offer from them. I have already met the coaching staff, and I like them a lot. I am looking forward to spending some more time with them. I going to their Junior Day on March 11."
When asked of an overall favorite McNeil replied, "My overall favorite would have to be Florida State right now. I have just always liked them."
In addition to his visit to Auburn and Ole Miss, McNeil will attend Alabama's Junior Day March 4.
McNeil will attend the Scout.com All-American combine in Tuscaloosa April 29. ,br>
