Top LB Prospect Enjoys Visit To Auburn

One of Alabama's top prospects for next season talks about a recent visit to check out the Auburn Tigers.

Brantley, Ala.--Linebacker Jeffrey Daniels was in Auburn over the weekend for unofficial visit, and he talks about his visit to the Plains.

"I liked Auburn a lot," said Jeffrey Daniels from Brantley, (Ala.). "I thought the facilities were good. They really showed us a good time. I checked out the weight room, and they showed us all the history of Auburn.

"I was talking to one of the coaches, and he was saying how he liked my style of play. He said I was a big, hard hitting linebacker."

Daniels was a standout in last season's state title game for Brantley.

Daniels enjoyed watching practice and liked the performance of the linebackers.

"They don't do too many drills out there," he said. "They just had a normal scrimmage. They looked pretty good. It was a long scrimmage. I think the linebackers did very well."

The 6-2 230-pound prospect is not sure what he likes about the Tigers, but he knows one thing, "I like them a lot," he said. "I don't know what it is that I like about Auburn. All I know is that I like them."

Daniels is eager to receive his first scholarship offer and claims Florida and Southern Miss have increased their recruitment.

Daniels will participate in the Scout.com All-American Combine in Tuscaloosa April 29.
