*Cornerback David Irons, who has missed much of spring practice due to academic conflicts, was at practice on Wednesday and looked good in drills. He was strong in one on one pass coverage drills as well as the 11 on 11 team sessions.
*David's brother, All-SEC tailback Kenny Irons, is expected to play in the A-Day Game on Saturday, but Coach Tommy Tuberville says it will just be some brief action early in the game.
*The Tigers worked on downing punts inside the 10-yard line at a practice with helmets, shoulder pads along with shorts.
*In the 11 on 11 work, junior quarterback Brandon Cox connected on a long touchdown pass over the middle to senior running back Tre Smith. Smith has had a strong spring as a receiver. He led all receivers in Saturday's major scrimmage with nine receptions.
*Gate 8 (student section) on the southeast corner of Jordan-Hare Stadium will be the only gate open for fans attending the A-Day game on Saturday. The spring football game is a sellout except for a limited number of student tickets remaining.
*Tommy Tuberville says there will be around 400 recruits plus their parents in town for the A-Day Game.
*The annual football awards that are announced at the A-Day Game will be done in pre-game ceremonies on Saturday.
*Fans can enter Jordan-Hare Stadium starting at 11 a.m. on Saturday. Actual kickoff is set for 1:05 p.m.
*The A-Day Game will be played in four, 12-minute quarters.

*The game will be televised on a tape-delayed basis on Tuesday March 21 at 7 p.m. CST on CSS and again on Wednesday, March 22 at 12:30 p.m. CST
*The live radio broadcast of the game in Auburn will be on 97.7 FM. Other radio stations carrying it will be WHEP in Foley 1310AM, WZOB Fort Payer 1250AM, WAAX Gasden 570AM and WTDR Talladega 92.7FM.
*Seating for the game will be in sections 18-28 at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
*The Tigers will practice again on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
