Athletic Chris Lett from Pensacola High says that so far he's getting attention from many of his top schools and has offers from three teams at the moment.
"I don't have any favorite schools," he adds. "I visited Florida last weekend and it went pretty good. I came to Auburn, too, and I enjoyed being there. I really don't have a pick yet."
One of nearly 300 prospects on hand for Auburn's A-Day game, Lett says he had the chance to see everything about the program in an up close and personal fashion. "It was a good game," he says. "I enjoyed watching them play. I had fun. It was my first trip to Auburn. We toured the whole campus. Everything stood out to me about the trip."
A starter since his sophomore season, the 6-2, 200 Lett plays both cornerback and wide receiver for Pensacola with his main priority on defense. He uses his 4.45 speed in the 40-yard dash to shut down his side of the field to opponents.
Last season he made 30 tackles and added five interceptions. Also a power forward on the basketball team who averaged 14 points per game and a member of the track team, Lett keeps busy during the school year.
He plans to keep on the move this spring and summer with several camps planned before he begins his senior season next fall. Among the colleges he hopes to see on his rounds are LSU, Auburn and possibly attend a Scout.com Combine.
