Mississiippi LB Prospect to Camp at Auburn

A football recruiting report on a 2007 prospect is featured.

Hattiesburg, Miss.--The capital of the Mississippi Pine Belt is Hattiesburgg. College recruiters certainly know their way to "The Burg."

The 2006 class saw Alabama land Hattiesburg High standout Milton Talbert and Auburn sign Oak Grove's Hendrick Leverette. The next prospect from the fertile area could be Hattiesburg High linebacker, Andre Hicks.

"I am hearing from Florida, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Alabama, Mississippi State, Auburn, LSU, Southern Miss and a few more," claimed Hicks.

Hicks is waiting for his first offer and says he is not quite ready to tip his hand.

"Everybody is even right now. I have no favorites," said Andre.

When asked what he does well on the gridiron Andre replied, "My pass drops are good and I am good at reading the Quarterback."

Hicks has plans to camp this Summer at Florida and Auburn as well as attend the Mississippi State team camp for the second year in a row.

Academics and team prestige will be major factors in Andre's college choice when decision time comes.
