Sprint Star Being Recruited by AU Football

A report is featured on a versatile 2007 prospect who is a double state champion.

Tallahassee, Fla.--One of the nation's fastest prospects is Lincoln High's Bandon Paul. Paul, 5-10 and 185 pounds, is the state champion in the 100 (10.4) and 200 (21.3) meters.

Paul plays a number of positions for Lincoln. He rushed for 586 yards and eight touchdowns, had 583 receiving yards and six touchdowns 564 return yards and three touchdowns 21 tackles, six pass breakups, one tackle for a loss and two interceptions.

"I do have great speed, awareness and toughness," said Paul. "I pattern my game after Reggie Bush, Ted Ginn and Devin Hester."

Paul has offers from most of the major college football powers, including Florida State, Florida, Miami, Texas, Tennessee, Auburn and Southern Cal. Those happen to also be the schools he likes at this time.

"Florida State is right at home for me and they put speed on the field. In fact, all the schools I like do that. I don't have any favorite right now but I want to go where I can also run track. I am also looking for a good atmosphere and to get a good education."

Paul's teammate, linebacker Craig Stevens, signed with Auburn in February.
