"I went up to Louisville Friday, and it went great," Smith said. "I went up there with my mom and dad. Everything was real nice. My parents were real impressed.

"I spoke to a few coaches. They were telling me about their program, quarterbacks they have had in the past, and how I could be their quarterback in the future."

The 6-2, 200-pound gunslinger continued, "Louisville has a real nice offense. They spread the ball around. I really like it."

When asked his overall impressions of the visit Smith replied, "I like Louisville a lot. I think it's a pretty nice school."
