"I received offers from LSU and Kentucky," said Williams. "My mom called me when I was on the way to Birmingham. She told I had two big packages at the house. I found out they were written offers from LSU and Kentucky."
"I was real excited about receiving those offers. I am not real concerned about the number of offers I have right now. I have my whole senior season. I'm still wide open."
Williams was a top performer at the U.S. Army Combine, and he didn't disappoint at Mountain Brook this past weekend.
"The first time I ran the 40 (yard dash) up there, I ran a 4.40," he said. "I took off my ankle braces, and then I ran a 4.37.
"I dominated the one-on-one drills. I had one receiver from Prattville call me out. I knocked him down to the ground when he came off the line, and then I knocked the pass down." "Christian [Smith] and I talked for a while. We didn't go up against each other. We are waiting for the Scout.com combine this weekend."
There has been a lot of talk over the past few weeks from several of the top athletes in the state as they prepare to showcase their skills at the Scout.com All-American Combine in Tuscaloosa April 29.
"It's on this weekend," Williams said. "Elliott and I are crunk. We have been waiting on this for a long time. We are going to come out there and dominate everybody."
