Williams Shows Out For SEC Coaches

Athlete Ryan Williams talks about visits from in-state schools Auburn and Alabama on Tuesday.

Mobile, Ala.--B.C. Rain cornerback Ryan Williams put on a show today for two SEC assistant coaches.

"Coach [James] Willis (Auburn) and coach [Buddy] Wyatt (Alabama) came by the school today," said Ryan Williams from Mobile, (Ala.) "It was funny because coach Willis came by earlier in the day, and he came back when we were doing 7-on-7, and coach Wyatt was there.

"They both sat out there and watched me the whole time," he added. "Usually I only play receiver during 7-on-7 but, I played cornerback. I had five interceptions. I tore-it-up on offense as well. I couldn't be stopped.

"They were very impressed with me. I think coach Willis likes me more as a receiver."

Williams received scholarship offers from LSU and Kentucky over the weekend, and Alabama State extended an offer today.
