College Coaches Checking Out DE Prospect

A football recruiting report features a 2007 prospect from Alabama.

Attalla, Ala.--Etowah High defensive end Jamison Wadley received a few college visitors on Tuesday, and he will receive a visit from a SEC assistant coach Thursday.

"A couple recruiting coaches came by the school," Wadley said. "Coaches from Arkansas, Memphis and Samford came by the high school. They didn't get to see me practice because it was storming here all day."

"Coach (Dave) Ungerer from Alabama is coming to the school tomorrow. We are set to have practice."

Wadley continues to wait for his first scholarship offer. His combine performance in Atlanta has brought on new interest from college coaches.

"I have received letters from Tennessee, Florida, Marshall and Vanderbilt this week," he said. "UCLA sent me a package with a questionnaire and a highlight film request."

The Blue Devils will host a spring jamboree May 19. Hazel Green and Sparkman are two powerhouse schools in the competition.
