QB/Ath Expecting Visit From AU coaches

A report on a 2007 signee class prospect is featured.

Ahoskie, N.C.--The May evaluation period starts next week for Danny Dembry as schools begin to visit Hertford County High.

"They start coming May 1st when Auburn comes in," says the 6-foot-2, 173-pounder who plays quarterback in high school. "They want to see me work out at other positions, but they don't know where they want me. I just want to show that I am an all-around athlete."

Dembry has attended the U.S. Army All-American Combine and the Scout.com Combine at Durham to help his development at the other skill positions.

"I am learning a little; you learn something different from the different coaches," he said. "I would say that I will play defensive back or wide receiver, but I am open to both."

Dembry still holds offers from East Carolina, Kentucky, and North Carolina State and claims he has no favorites at the moment.
