Lineman Names Five Early Favorites

A report on a large line prospect from Georgia is featured.

Suwanee, Ga.--Collins Hill High's T.J. Hurless is one of the big offensive linemen who stood out at the Atlanta Combine in one on one drills.

At 6-4 1/2, 299 pounds, Hurless is still growing. He notes that he has added a half inch recently and the current high school junior says he won't be surprised if he keeps getting taller.

"Recruiting is going all right," says Hurless, who is hearing from SEC and ACC programs. "I don't have any offers yet. Auburn, Miami, Vanderbilt, Clemson and Duke are probably the top five now."

Hurless will begin spring practice in early May and says that a major goal is to work on his "foot speed."

The big tackle, who is scheduled to be a starter for a third straight year, adds, "I think my strength is run blocking. We don't throw the ball much."
