Newnan, Ga.--Although he doesn't have any major college offers yet, offensive line prospect Will Cochran hopes to change that prior to the start of his senior season at Northgate High School.

A 6-3 1/2, 266 with the frame to add a considerable amount of weight, Cochran plans to hit the camp circuit after he finishes his junior year of high school.

"I am getting a lot of letters, but I don't have anything (offers) for sure," he says. "I am hoping to get one from maybe Auburn, Clemson, South Carolina or Georgia Tech.

"Over the summer I will be going to the Auburn and Clemson camps and I am hoping to go to a South Carolina and Georgia Tech camp."

Cochran, who has started on both the offensive and defensive line in high school, projects as an offensive player in college. He is expected to make a move from offensive guard to tackle as a senior.

He bench presses 275 pounds and has a 25-inch vertical jump. Cochran says he is currently better as a run blocker than a pass blocker. "We run a Wing-T offense and I don't do much pass blocking," he says.

In the classroom he should be a qualifier without any problem. Cochran says he is interested in majoring in history or criminal law in college.
