Two-Way Florida Prospect High on Auburn

A 2007 prospect is a versatile performer on offense and defense.

Miramar, Fla.--Justin Francis was Mr. Versatility last season. While he primarily lined up at tight end and defensive end, he also saw time at fullback and linebacker.

"I was all over the field," Francis said. "I'm getting recruited to play tight end or defensive end and that's mainly what I'll play this season."

Francis, 6-foot-4 and 245 pounds, finished last season with 12 catches for 102 yards on offense while adding 49 tackles and three sacks on defense. The talented junior has caught the eye of several college coaches. He mentioned three in particular.

"Right now, I like Auburn, Rutgers, and Florida State," he said. "Those are all good programs and they're sending me hand-written mail and stuff. I'm very interested in those three, but I really don't have a leader."

Francis plans on attending the Scout.com All-American Combine at FAU on May 13.
