Louisiana TE Has Auburn In Top Four

A report is featured on Southern Lab's Frank Alexander.

Baton Rouge, La.--One player in Louisiana who is starting to turn some heads is Baton Rouge Southern Lab tight end Frank Alexander.

"I have a written offer from Southern Miss," Alexander said. "I have verbal offers from LSU, Clemson, Auburn and Ole Miss. Coach Fisher from LSU came by here and he told me I have one."

The 6-foot-4, 228-pound Alexander has had plenty of coaches coming by and some important phone calls.

"I have gotten calls from Southern Miss and Clemson," Alexander said. "Coach Haywood from Notre Dame and coach Hevesey from Florida have came by. Miami and Ole Miss have also been in."

As a junior Alexander was a first team all-district selection on both sides of the ball for the Kittens. He started at tight end and defensive end, and with his size and speed he has the game to play either at the college level.

"LSU, Miami, Florida and Auburn are my top four," Alexander said. "I want to wait a while and weigh out all of my options before I decide anything."
