Georgia TE Prospect Impressed by Auburn

A report is featured on David Duran.

Marietta, Ga.--Here at Scout.com-South, we knew it was just a matter of time before the first offer rolled in for big Kell High School tight end David Duran.

That offer came from a Big East program and he updates Scout.com on all the details.

"I got an offer from Cincinnati this past week," Duran said. "Georgia, Boston College, Auburn, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest have all been recruiting me pretty hard also."

Which schools currently reside in his top five?

"I like Georgia, Georgia Tech, Auburn, Boston College and Virginia Tech."

Duran, who is 6-5, 245, talks a little about why he favors each of his leaders.

Georgia: "My dad went there and I've kind of been a fan all my life. Good program and good coaches

Georgia Tech: "I've met Coach Nix and Coach Gailey and like them. Good program with great academics."

Auburn: "I took a couple of visits there and was real impressed by the facilities and the tradition."

Boston College: "Coach Bridge has been recruiting me and he's really impressed me. I like the program a lot."

Virginia Tech: "I love their winning tradition. Coach Gray is a great guy."

Expect David to be very busty on the camp circuit this summer.

"Right now I'm signed up for Georgia, Georgia Tech and I think Auburn. I'm trying to go to some others and a few one day camps as well."
