Senior Video of Auburn Commitment

Daquan Bembry was one of Auburn's first public commitments for the Class of 2007. He lined up at outside linebacker for his Hawkinsville team against Dodge County earlier this year, and he showed why the Tigers were so high on him early. See him in action in this presentation by ScoutTV.

Daquan Bembry is a hard hitting linebacker on the high school level. In the neighborhood of 5-9 and 175 pounds, Bembry will play defensive back on the college level, but it doesn't take long when watching him play to see why Coach Lee Campbell has him lining up at linebacker.

In a play that doesn't make the highlight films, but endears himself to coaches everywhere, Bembry took on a pulling guard head up before getting a piece of the ball carrier on a counter play. Bembry was probably giving up close to 100 pounds in that play, and he stood up the offensive linemen.

He throws his body all over the place in the rest of the game as well, and he makes several plays that were highlight worthy including kick returns and sideline to sideline pursuit.

The Auburn Tigers got themselves a gem in Bembry. See him in action as a senior as ScoutTV* traveled to Dodge County to see him in action earlier this year.
