Last year Harris signed with the Tigers out of Heritage High School, however, the 6-3, 225-pounder knew that he would need a year of prep school before he would be able to join the Auburn program.
Now, following a strong year in the classroom and on the football field, the Scout.com four-star prospect is set to join Tommy Tuberville's program in the summer and have five years of eligibility to play four seasons. He has finished his academic work at prep school.
As a high school senior, Harris earned All-State honors rushing for more than 1,100 yards and 17 touchdowns.
Harris will get his first look at running back for the Tigers, but with his size, athleticism and large frame he could end up at linebacker or even defensive end before his career is finished.
