Scenes from Auburn's new tennis complex for the men's and women's team are featured.

Good weather for construction has enable crews to make significant progress on Auburn's new tennis complex. The project is being jointly built by Auburn University and the City of Auburn.

The facility will include 16 clay courts and many of those courts are close to being finished. Play on them is expected to start later this spring.

The clubhouse where the pros for the city of Auburn will be located is shown as workers level the land before putting in clay for more courts.

A view of the facility is shown from the northwest corner with the building for the six indoor tennis courts in the background.

The indoor courts will be the first ones for the Tigers, who have been at disadvantage by not being able to train or play matches in bad weather.

The indoor courts building will also have offices for the AU men's and women's tennis teams plus storage and locker rooms for the players.

On the south side of the complex there will be 12 hardcourts that will be used to play intercollegiate matches.

A view from the indoor courts looking back towards the entrance and the offices is shown.
