An outdoor swimming pool is under construction on the site of the former Luther Young Tennis Center.
New swimming and diving head coach Richard Quick will be able to use the new pool for training his team this summer.
Construction crews have put in the dozen hard courts that will be used by the Auburn men's and women's tennis teams at their new off-campus home.
The new tennis center, which is located on Richland Road off of Shug Jordan Parkway, is being jointly built by Auburn University and the City of Auburn. The indoor facility is shown on the right.
The indoor facility will have six courts along with locker rooms, office space, locker rooms, a trophy display area and storage for the AU men's and women's teams.

The front of the new home for the women's and men's golf teams is shown at the Auburn University Club. It will house offices for men's golf coach Mike Griffin and women's coach Kim Evans.
The indoor practice facility is shown. The Tigers will be able to work on their strokes even in nasty weather. The players will have locker rooms, a study area and 24-hour access to the facility.
