AU Verbal Runs A Reverse And Is Headed South

Jermarcus Hardrick talks about his decision to re-enroll at South Panola High School.

Batesville, Miss.--Auburn commitment Jermarcus Hardrick will be returning to South Panola High School where he has started the last two seasons at offensive tackle. He transferred to North Panola High for the spring semester of 2007 to have a shorter drive from his home, but his mother decided it was best to return to South Panola.

"My momma didn't really like it up there and she figured it was best for me to finish my senior year where I started," Hardick tells Inside the Auburn Tigers. "There was a lot to it. She wanted me out of trouble."

Hardrick, at 6-6 and 320 pounds, became Auburn's sixth public commitment of the 2008 class on June 17. He says since then everything has been quiet on the recruiting front.

"I really haven't heard from Auburn or anybody," he notes. "I like it okay, but I really like the attention."
