Big Lineman Updates His Status With Auburn

Mississippi football prospect Jermarcus Hardrick discusses his interest in the Auburn Tigers.

Batesville, Miss.--Jermarcus Hardrick, who committed to Auburn in June and then later said he was reconsidering his decision, said on Tuesday that he still considers himself a "soft verbal" commitment to the Tigers.

"I am looking around, but I still want to be considered as an Auburn commitment," the 6-6, 320-pounder said.

Hardrick, who played at South Panola High last season, transferred closer to home to North Panola High where he participated in spring practice this year. However, he has decided to return to South Panola this fall.

The big lineman says he plans to call Auburn offensive line coach Hugh Nall and tell him that he is still very interested in the Tigers and he will be on the Auburn campus July 14th for a one-day football camp. "I am looking forward to the camp over there," Hardrick says.
