Auburn, Ala.--Scenes from Auburn's summer football workouts are featured.

Brad Lester, a junior, will open practice as Auburn's number one tailback this season.

Neil Caudle, who will be a redshirt freshman this year, will try to make move in the competition to be No. 2 behind senior Brandon Cox, who is scheduled to start for a third straight season.

A newcomer in the quarterback competition is Kodi Burns, who arrived on campus early this summer in hopes of breaking into the playing rotation as a true freshman.

Tim Hawthorne, a redshirt freshman wide receiver, looks to be back to full speed this summer after a traffic accident cut short his spring training.

Tray Blackmon, who will be a redshirt sophomore this fall, is expected to make the move from weakside linebacker to middle linebacker.

Adam Herring, a signee from Fayetteville, Ark., has been on campus most of the summer preparing for his first season as a college linebacker.

Walk-on wide receiver John Cubelic makes a catch as another walk-on, safety Josh Hebert, has tight pass coverage.

Rodgeriqus Smith, who will be going on scholarship in August, poses with a former Tiger, Roderick Hood, who also earned a scholarship as an Auburn walk-on. Hood, who played for the NFL's Philadelphia Eagles last season, is a member of the Arizona Cardinals team.

Terrell Zachery, a redshirt freshman wide receiver (left), makes a move against junior safety Jonathan Vickers.

Zachery, who is the all-time leading receiver in Alabama high school history, gains enough separation from Vickers to make a catch. Zachery will be competing for playing time as a slot receiver this fall.
