A report updates the recruiting of one of the fastest prospects in the 2008 signee class.

Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.--Dillard High School wide receiver Harry Adams had hoped to attend Auburn's senior camp on Saturday, June 14, but he won't be able to attend.

"I'm not going to be able to make it," Adams notes, "but I went to Auburn last year for a camp. This year I've gone to Rutgers and that's about it.

"I'm coming when Auburn plays Alabama for my official," he adds. "And I'm going to Minnesota when they play Ohio State."

The 6-0, 174-pound speedster claims offers from "Florida, Auburn, Minnesota and LSU" and has his college choice narrowed down to a short list.

"I like Florida and Auburn so much right now," Adams says. "It's going to be hard when it comes down to it. I'm taking my officials to Florida, Auburn, Minnesota and North Carolina probably."

Adams has a strong relationship with many people affiliated with the Auburn program, including his recruiting coach Eddie Gran. "He's great, he's a good coach and he talks to me like he's known me since I was young."

The Auburn program has a long-standing history with Dillard High School, and has two current Dillard stars on the roster in Pat Sims and incoming freshman Antoine Carter, who was cleared by the NCAA this week.

"I know all of them," Adams exclaims. "It's great. They say I should go there. I don't know too much about Auburn, but I want to get to know about it."

One of the fastest prospects in the country, Adams posted a 10.28 100-meter dash time early in the track season before injuring his leg.
