ITAT Radio Show Begins Monday

Auburn, Ala.--Inside the Auburn Tigers opens a new chapter in its coverage of Auburn University sports on Monday, July 30th with the debut of Inside the Auburn Tigers Radio.

Produced by WANI 1400AM and The Auburn Network, the two-hour sports talk show will be a daily program on Mondays-Fridays from 4-6 p.m. Central time and will feature hosts Mark Murphy, Jason Caldwell and Brad Law.

Auburn University head football coach Tommy Tuberville, whose Tigers begin practice this week, will be the guest for the opening show on Monday. Auburn University's director of athletics, Jay Jacobs, will be a guest on Tuesday's show.

Mark Murphy

Murphy, editor of Inside the Auburn Tigers magazine as well as the publication's football newsletter, has made thousands of radio appearances to discuss Auburn University sports. Additionally, he is editor of the annual publication, the 2007 Auburn Tigers Football Guide.

Murphy is also editor of the website,, and his book, Game of My Life Auburn, Memorable Stories of Auburn Football, is scheduled to be released in August. An honors graduate in journalism at Auburn University, Murphy has an extensive background in the media as a newspaper reporter, a sports editor, bureau chief and as a news editor.

Jason Caldwell

Caldwell, a member of the Inside the Auburn Tigers staff since 1999, was promoted to assistant editor in 2001. His assignments include work on the monthly magazine, the football newsletter and the annual football preview.

He is heavily involved in the magazine's website coverage and is a frequent guest on radio shows around the the Southeast to provide his insight on AU athletics.

Brad Law

Law, who began his broadcasting career calling Piedmont High basketball games at the age of 15, has extensive experience as a play by play man. Since arriving at Auburn in 2004, he has been a studio host for The Auburn Network and has done play by play work for AU baseball and softball games.

Law has also been involved with radio coverage of UAB football and basketball along with Troy University basketball and he is co-host of Prep Sports Game Night, a state-wide syndicated high school scoreboard show.

Former Auburn star linebacker Quentin Riggins will be a regular guest to discuss Auburn football this fall and the show will feature a variety of other sports personalities throughout the year.
