*Auburn cut Alabama's lead in the all-time series to 38-33-1 with a sixth straight win in the series.
*The Tigers have played well in home night games this decade with a 14-2 record in kickoffs that start after 6 p.m.
*The Tigers scored on their opening drive for the sixth time in the last eight games.
*The Tigers led 10-7 at halftime, the 11th time this season they have been in front at intermission.
*Rodgeriqus Smith, who had 46 receiving yards, moved into 15th place in AU history past Greg Taylor, who played for the Tigers from 1987-90. Smith has 1,221.
*Alabama's 225 yards of total offense was a season low for the Tide as were its 113 passing yards and 10 points.
Alabama, which had scored on its opening possession nine times this season, had a three-and-out to open the game.
