Auburn's the One for Adams

Enterprise High School's Ken Adams discusses why Auburn's his favorite.

Enterprise, Ala.--As expected, Enterprise High standout Ken Adams left his official visit to Auburn saying he wants to be an Auburn Tiger.

The 6-3 1/8, 220-pounder tells Inside the Auburn Tigers, "Auburn is the only school I am interested in and I have been for a long time. I didn't take any other visits and I am not going to take any others."

Enterprise High coach Kevin Collins says that Adams is planning to get to Auburn via the junior college route like former Enterprise star Raven Gray did. Gray just joined the Auburn football team in January.

"The Auburn coaches have a good plan for Ken," Collins says of the sign to place prospect who will be heading to junior college after he graduates from high school. "A lot of schools were interested in Ken, but Auburn is really the only one he is interested in and he has been for a long time."

Adams, who was a two-way standout at Enterprise High and who also plays basketball, is being recruited by the Tigers as a sign-to-place prospect. He played tight end, wide receiver and defensive end for the Wildcats.

Adams was voted captain of the football team his senior season and his coach notes that he is still a player who is developing. "He is a very explosive athlete, the kind of player who excites college coaches," Collins says. "He has great feet. He is a player who developed a great deal in our program at Enterprise High and Ken has so much potential to continue to improve he is an exciting prospect."
