"It was fine," Henderson states. "(On Friday) I went out with my player host, Antoine Carter, and ate."
On Saturday he met with the coaches and says that the highlight of the visit was meeting with head coach Tommy Tuberville. "I had only met him once before and I got a chance to sit down and talk with him." Henderson adds that they talked about "Just how I'm doing in school, ACT scores, how I did in football this year, how basketball is going this year and stuff like that."
Henderson also met with Paul Rhoads, who was hired on Thursday as Auburn's new defensive coordinator. "It was fun. I met him once, on Saturday. We were just meeting. He's a good guy and I think he'll be a good defensive coordinator here."
Henderson is being recruited to Auburn by defensive end coach Terry Price, who covers the Birmingham area. "He said I could come early and play," Henderson notes.
Despite his commitment to Auburn, Henderson is still planning on taking a visit to the University of Tennessee next weekend.
"I'm not really going," he says. "I'm just going to just check it out. I'm not really going. I mean, it's free, so..."
Along with hanging out with Carter, Henderson was also around an undecided prospect, a current Auburn commitment and an Alabama commitment on his visit. "Jerrell Harris, D'Antoine Hood, Mark Barron and that's about it that went out (Saturday) night."
