Fortson, who announced his verbal commitment to the Tigers last spring, wanted to take another visit, Carver head coach Dell McGee says. "I talked with him today after his visit and he said is committed to Auburn," McGee tells Inside the Auburn Tigers. "He is done with recruiting."
Fortson, a 6-3, 220-pound wide receiver, has already officially visited Auburn where he is expected to join his Carver teammate, quarterback DeRon Furr, who graduated early from high school and is enrolled at Auburn.
Fortson was heavily recruited before choosing the Tigers, noting that after careful consideration Auburn, his long-time favorite college, is where he wants to play college football.
