Big Receiver Signs with Auburn

Darvin Adams signed his papers early Wednesday morning to become an Auburn Tiger.

Kennesaw, Ga.--Long-time Auburn verbal commit Darvin Adams of Harrison High has signed to play for the Tigers. A big target and versatile athlete, he is one of a large group of receiver prospects expected to sign with the Tigers this national signing day.

Adams played quarterback his junior year and accounted for more that 2,000 total yards and 20 touchdowns. As a defensive back he intercepted six passes, returning two for scores.

A quarterback for most of his life, Adams moved to receiver his senior year and will play receiver for the Tigers. He chose Auburn over Tennessee and also claimed offers from Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest.

Adams, at 6-3 and 178 pounds, earned his scholarship to Auburn with impressive camp performances over the years.
