Fla. Athlete Signs With Tigers

Another signing day update on an Auburn signee is featured.

Kissimmee, Fla.—Cornerback/safety prospect T'Sharvan Bell will leave the shores of Lake Tohopekaliga for the plains of Auburn. Bell has faxed in his signature and made it official: he is now an Auburn Tiger.

The 26th-ranked safety prospect in the nation chose Auburn over offers from Clemson, Georgia Tech, Maryland, North Carolina State and South Carolina.

In his junior season, Bell intercepted eight passes and also scored eight touchdowns on offense as a wide receiver for coach Jeff Rolson's team. His senior season as a quarterback/safety, he ran the ball for 606 yards and seven touchdowns, threw the ball 36 times for 930 yards and 10 touchdowns and had 42 tackles with five interceptions and five deflected passes while leading the Cowboys to the 5A state championship game.

Bell's talent allowed him to play a myriad of positions in high school, but at Auburn he projects as a defensive back.
