Running back prospect Al-Terek McBurse discusses his visit to Auburn and the report features video of he prospect in game action.
Orlando, Fla.--A running back who has been a starter since his ninth grade year says that Auburn
is one of the colleges that interests him.
Al-Terek McBurse, a 6-0, 185-pounder from Winter Springs High School, stopped by the Auburn campus on the way home from a football camp at Georgia Tech where he says he ran a 4.42 40-yard dash.
"I just watched the camp at Auburn," McBurse tells Inside the Auburn Tigers. "It was nice and intense out there. It looked like there was some good competition."
McBurse earned all-conference honors as a junior after rushing 1,384 yards and nine touchdowns on 164 carries. He also caught nine passes and in spot duty on defense intercepted a pass.
Commenting on his strength as a football player, McBurse says, "I have a lot of quickness out of my breaks."
The rising senior says he has offers from Purdue, Iowa, Central Florida and FIU. He notes that he is interested in studying engineering, which explains his interest in Auburn along with Georgia Tech.
