Monday Auburn Football Practice Notes Part I

News and notes, with injury updates to a defensive player and an offensive player, are in the report.

*Junior cornerback Aairon Savage, a projected starter, suffered a leg injury late in practice that looked serious. He landed awkwardly while covering a pass. Coach Tommy Tuberville said he does not know how serious the injury is.

*Senior wide receiver Charles Olatunji landed on his shoulder and left practice early.

*Wes Byrum and Morgan Hull were each 3-3 on field goals to end practice with makes from 35, 40 and 45 yards out.

*Former Tiger tight end Robert Johnson watched practice today. He is back at AU taking classes to finish his degree.

*Sophomore defensive end Antoine Carter had a good practice on Monday and was quick in the one-on-one drills.

*Freshman defensive end Jomarcus Savage also did well in the one on one drills.

*Redshirt freshman offensive lineman Kyle Coulahan struggled in the one on one drills.
