Auburn Women Continue European Domination

Prague, Czech Republic--The Auburn women's basketball team continued its domination on a European Tour on Tuesday with a 101-54 victory over Hradec Kralove.

Rising senior DeWanna Bonner led the Tigers with 33 points and 11 rebounds and also added six assists plus three steals in the win. Bonner said she's happy with the way the team is playing through two games of a three-game trip.

"We played good defense today and I am happy for another win," Bonner said. "The two games we have had in Europe have really showed what great physical shape that we are in and that will be important for us during the season. Our shots fell today and we contributed."

Bonner was one of four Tigers in double figures for the game as Sherell Hobbs added 23 points, KeKe Carrier scored 12 and Whitney Boddie chipped in with 11 points, 10 assists and eight steals. Reneisha Hobbs added nine points with Trevesha Jackson scoring six and Jordan Greenleaf five.

Auburn will conclude its international schedule on Wednesday versus Nitra BBC in Slovakia. Auburn will depart Prague on Wednesday morning and bus to Bratislava, Slovakia. The Tigers fourth game that was scheduled for Thursday versus Foton Gyor BBC (of Hungary) was cancelled.
