Running Back Plans to Be at AU Next Year

Chatham, Va.--Running back Onterio McCalebb from Fort Meade High School in Florida says he plans to re-sign with the Tigers in December and report to Auburn University for classes in January.

The running back, who had been a West Virginia commitment prior to Rich Rodriguez leaving for Michigan, told Scout's director of scouting, Scott Kennedy, that all systems are go for him to head to Auburn after playing a season of prep school football at Hargrave Military Academy.

Ranked a four-star prospect by Scout.com as a senior, he averaged 11.2 yards per carry and netted 1,421 yards with 17 touchdowns. He also caught 23 passes for 448 yards and six touchdowns.

McCalebb took an official visit to Auburn for the 2007 season for the South Florida game.
