Thursday Auburn Tiger Football Practice Notes

News and notes on the Auburn football Tigers are featured.

Auburn, Ala.--Tommy Tuberville said after Thursday's Auburn football practice it will be a game time decision whether Kodi Burns will play on Saturday.

If the sophomore is given the okay by Dr. James Andrews, who wil examine his leg after Tiger Walk, expect Burns to play as a reserve. Chris Todd is scheduled to start vs. Southern Miss.

Tuberville said that Burns was moving better on Thursday than he was on Wednesday, but is still lacking the quick bursts he normally has when running the football.

In other news and notes from Auburn's final practice prior to game two:

*Freshman Harry Adams is scheduled to see action on special teams and could return a kickoff vs. Southern Miss. He may also see playing time at cornerback. Ben Tate and Tristan Davis are expeced to be the number one kickoff returners this week.

*Third team offensive guard Kyle Coulahan has some type of "virus" Tuberville said and the team's medical staff has been keeping him away from the other players. He is questionable for Saturday's game.

*The Tigers worked out for 90 minutes in shorts with approximately half of the practice devoted to the kicking game.

*Running back/receiver John Douglas may be ready to play this week, but that isn't certain.

*Receiver James Swinton (knee), who returned to practice on Wednesday, should be full speed by game time (11:30 a.m.) on Saturday.
