Lester Could Return for LSU Game

A report on the injured senior Auburn running back is featured.

Auburn, Ala.--Auburn senior running back could see action this week against LSU after suffering a neck sprain in Auburn's 3-2 victory over Mississippi State.

Coach Tommy Tuberville says Lester was able to participate in the non-contact portions of Tuesday's practice, but noted the senior looked stiff and didn't have a full range of motion. Lester did not practice on Sunday.

Tuberville says team doctors, plus a specialist in Birmingham, have done multiple MRIs and have cleared Lester to play, but the head coach notes, "It is up to Brad on whether or not he plays this week."

Lester has told teammates to expect him to be on the field when the Tigers take on LSU in a battle of Top 10 teams that Tuberville says will go a long way toward determining who will represent the West in the SEC Championship Game.
