Stallworth Talks Tigers, Recruiting

A wide receiver recruit talks about his visit this weekend and updates his status.

Leesville, La.--Travante Stallworth says he is still committed to Auburn, but wants to check out the Michigan Wolverines and possibly some other colleges.

"I am going to Michigan this Friday and I am going to take my visit to Auburn on the 23rd," he says. "I have also gotten new offers from Mississippi State and Louisiana Tech."

Stallworth was at a basketball game on Tuesday night and didn't get a chance to see new offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn's Tulsa team in action at the GMAC Bowl as The Golden Hurricane racked up more than 600 yards of total offense in a blowout victory over Ball State in Malzahn's final game with Tulsa.

However, Stallworth says he is familiar with the offense and Malzahn, who is recruiting him for Auburn.

"He's a great offensive coach and a great man," Stallworth says.

Asked if he still feels good about his decision to play for the Tigers, Stallworth says, "I do. I am still committed to Auburn."
