ITAT Q&A With Carver Star Brandon Moore

Is four-star recruit Brandon Moore taking an official visit to Auburn this weekend?

Are you going to take an official visit to Auburn this weekend?

Which Auburn coaches have you been in contact with?
"Everybody. Coach (Gene) Chizik, Coach (James) Willis, Coach (Joe) Whitt, every one of them."

I know you're really interested in Florida and Alabama. Are you strongly considering Auburn, too?
"It all depends on how the visit goes."

What are you going to be looking for on your visit and what does Auburn need to show you?
"I just need to be comfortable and my folks need to be comfortable."

Do you know what time you'll leave for Auburn?
"I've got to go to school on Friday so probably around 4-something."

Who all is going with you?
"My mom and my dad."

Well how did things go for you at Florida last weekend.
"It went nice."

What was the best part of the visit to Florida?
"Getting to meet Tim Tebow, Percy Harvin, Brandon Spikes and all of them."

In general what do you like about Florida?
"The success, everybody coming back next year and the location."

Are you still planning on (officially) visiting Alabama sometime soon?
"More than likely, yes."

You don't have it set?
"More than likely if I do, it'll be on the 23rd (of January). I'm probably going to visit there on the 23rd."

What do you like about Alabama?
"They're close to home and they visit my school every week when they're allowed to. They keep in contact and they've got a really good recruiting class, too. They're in-state also."

Do you remember which Auburn games you made it to this year?
"When they played LSU–that was a very good game and it was loud–and when they played Tennessee. The LSU was a great atmosphere and the fans were loud."

With the new coaching staff, how do you feel about those guys? Do you like them?
"Yeah. I already knew Coach Willis. But I really don't know them yet. I know who they are, but I don't know them real well yet. I guess I'll get to meet them this weekend."

The old staff was recruiting you for offense. What has the new staff told you?
"I could come in and fill in for Sen'Derrick Marks. I could come in and have a big impact on either side of the ball. This was my first year on offense and I made first team All-State. Defensively, everybody knows what I do on defense because it's on film."

Does that help Auburn's chances now that they want you for defense now?

Which do you like more?
"I would say defense."

Where do you think your future is?
"I really don't know right now. I don't even know what my future school is right now, let alone position."
