Texas D-Lineman To Take Official To Auburn

Nosa Eguae is expect to take an official visit to Auburn this weekend.

Arlington, Texas–Nosa Eguae, a defensive tackle out of Mansfield Summit High School in Arlington, Texas, isn't a player that was recruited by Auburn's old staff. However, the Tigers are now after the 6-3, 240-pound prospect.

Curtis Luper, Auburn's new running back coach via Oklahoma State, has been recruiting Eguae and he is expected to take an official visit to Auburn.

"Nosa is going to go down there this weekend," confirms high school coach Kyle Geller. "He got it lined up just recently."

Eguae took an official visit to Colorado on Sept. 18 and to Minnesota on Nov. 7.

"He's looking at Minnesota, Texas Tech, I think Baylor is in the picture and Nebraska might be in the picture," Geller says.

"Auburn hasn't been by lately, but his is a dead week," Geller adds. "They had been by before that.

"They have the best recruiter in the nation now–Curtis Luper," he continues. "You guys are going to eat him up. He gets kids out of DFW, Dallas-Fort Worth, and I think he took Oklahoma State recruiting-wise to a new level. I have great respect for the guy, the way he handles the business, the relationship he has with kids. He does a lot of thoughtful things for people and that makes a difference."

Also expected to take an official visit to Auburn this weekend are Demond Washington, Tana Patrick, Brandon Moore, Dee Ford and Anthony Gulley.
