Stout Discusses Visit to Auburn

Comments from offensive line prospect Hunter Stout are featured on his visit to Auburn.

Tampa, Fla.--Offensive line prospect Hunter Stout from Wharton High School said he did not get a scholarship offer from Auburn on his official visit and said he will likely commit to the Louisville Cardinals.

Stout was one of nine prospects who took official visits to Auburn over the weekend. He said he had a good time with his player host, Lee Ziemba, but said the Tigers asked him to wait.

He said that he enjoyed meeting Auburn's new coaching staff and checking out what he called "the great tradition" of the AU football program.

Stout said he hung out with Auburn players and learned more about the AU program.

"They said wait until the end of this week to get an offer," Stout said. "Right now I don't have an offer. They said they have some other linemen they have been recruiting for a month now so they just started recruiting me. I guess they are going to wait for the other linemen."

Commenting on Louisville, he said, "It is a great school and I feel comfortable there." He added, "I feel that Coach Meyers (Louisville offensive line coach Brent Myers) is a great coach and the facilities are great there. I really liked all of the coaches when I was there. It is just a great place to be."
